What is Pkeday?
Pkeday is currently our family office. We focus on public market investments. It is a young and small organization right now; but we do hope it will become much larger over time.
What’s the point?
This blog serves multiple purposes:
Writeing my thesis helps solidify my own conviction
Discover people with common interests who will engage with me on specific thesis (with comments or connects) and / or at a more general idea exchange level
Capture my own investment journey; its like a journal where I can capture my own evolution over time.
So who should subscribe?
Really - whoever is interested. But that is a lazy answer. Let me tell you who I am assuming is my audience: Someone who is at least familiar with the basics of investments; I will not define basic terms or provide benchmarks on multiples for example.
But this blog is also not meant for anyone who does extensive and complex modeling for businesses. I tend to evaluate business in a simplistic fashion. The ‘inputs’ (quantitative assumptions) in my models will be few and will mostly evolve around the ‘story’ rather than the numbers. The numbers are directional only to sense check and ensure my story is not absurd.
